Story of my life By: Lucy Score

A charming small-town romcom with grumpy-sunshine energy, fake dating, home renovation chaos, and a writer heroine searching for her spark again. When romance author Hazel Hart escapes Manhattan for a rundown historic home in Story Lake, Pennsylvania, she gets more than she bargained for: raccoons, town-council drama, and Campbell Bishop, the tall, broody contractor knocking down walls around her house and around her heart. As fake dating turns into something far too real, Hazel finds inspiration, community, and the kind of love story she never saw coming.

Tropes:
grumpy x sunshine, small town romance, fake dating, forced proximity, home renovation, writer heroine, broody contractor, found community

Spice level:
Moderate / medium spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️
(from the blurb, it reads more flirty and romcom-forward than extra spicy)
